Exercise Physiologist

Lindsay Maurer

Lindsay earned her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology at Western State College, one of the most respected schools in the nation for human performance studies.  While there, she honed her skills in wellness counseling, human performance, exercise prescription, fitness assessment and sport performance training. 

During her tenure as the manager of the Western State College High Altitude Performance Lab she led many studies in the effects of exercising at altitude on human performance. 

Lindsay continued her ambitions in physiology through her time as a staff Exercise Physiologist in an inpatient rehabilitation program.  She has experience in providing exercise prescription to populations with orthopedic injuries, chronic illness, and bariatric limitations.  She is now busy full time at the IMC helping patients achieve their exercise goals.

Lindsay is passionate about the correlation between exercise and overall health and is excited to be a part of the IMC where lifestyle changes are incorporated into the care plan of every patient.  Lindsay provides simple, valuable, and fun programs built for success.
